Pistol

The Kent County Conservation League (KCCL) Pistol Range is a well-regarded facility for handgun enthusiasts in West Michigan. Situated within KCCL’s larger outdoor sportsman’s club, the pistol range offers a safe, controlled environment for novice and experienced shooters alike. Multiple lanes allow for a variety of shooting distances and practice scenarios, and the range is illuminated out to 50 yards, so you can keep shooting after dark. When the temperatures drop, a heater in the pistol bay takes the edge off the cold, making it comfortable to train year-round, even through a Michigan winter.

Like our rifle range, the pistol range is a members-only benefit and is not open to the public. That means fewer crowds, more time on the line, and a range shared with fellow members who take safety seriously. The range is well-maintained and supervised by experienced part-time staff, with safety as the top priority.

KCCL also offers Michigan CPL (Concealed Pistol License) classes and other training programs for shooters of all skill levels, and all of our classes are open to the public, so you don’t need to be a member to sign up. Whether you’re working toward your CPL, sharpening your marksmanship, or simply enjoying a day of recreational shooting, the KCCL Pistol Range is a great place to do it.
