Welcome to Kent County Conservation League (KCCL), West Michigan’s premier outdoor sporting and conservation facility. Established in 1929, KCCL has been a cornerstone for outdoor enthusiasts, sportsmen, and conservationists for nearly a century. Our mission is to promote responsible use and enjoyment of our natural resources through education, conservation efforts, and the provision of top-notch recreational opportunities.
Founded by a group of passionate outdoorsmen in 1929, Kent County Conservation League was created with a commitment to preserving the natural beauty of Michigan while providing a space where people could come together to enjoy shooting sports and other outdoor activities. Over the decades, we have grown into one of the most respected and well-loved shooting clubs in the region, maintaining our original values of stewardship, community, and education.
Set on over 170 acres of pristine land, KCCL offers a wide range of facilities designed to cater to both seasoned sportsmen and newcomers alike:
Skeet & Trap Fields: Our state-of-the-art skeet and trap ranges are meticulously maintained and provide an ideal environment for both competitive and recreational shooting.
5-Stand: A versatile shotgun shooting range featuring five shooting stations, where participants can engage with a variety of clay target presentations in a controlled, dynamic environment.
Sporting Clays: A challenging and exciting course that simulates real hunting scenarios, perfect for honing your shooting skills.
Rifle & Pistol Ranges: We offer several rifle and pistol ranges with varying distances, suitable for shooters of all levels.
Archery Range: For those who prefer the bow and arrow, our archery range provides a quiet, natural setting to practice.
Clubhouse: Our welcoming clubhouse is the heart of the KCCL community, offering a place to relax, socialize, and participate in club events.
KCCL is proud to be a member-driven organization, and we encourage those who share our values to join our ranks. Membership provides access to all our facilities, discounts on shooting, and the opportunity to be part of a community dedicated to outdoor sports and community. We also welcome non-members to visit and participate in many of our events and activities.
At Kent County Conservation League, we are dedicated to giving back through community involvement and outreach. We proudly offer businesses and organizations the opportunity to host charity events at our facilities—creating a fun and engaging way to support great causes. These events help raise funds for initiatives such as scholarships for those pursuing skilled trades, community development efforts, and other meaningful local programs. Through these partnerships, KCCL continues to strengthen community connections and make a positive impact beyond the range.
